Fastest-Growing Privately-Held Business in the Dallas Area

Dallas, TX- November 3, 2022 - Sunnyland Outdoor Living, one of the largest outdoor furniture stores in Texas and a family-owned business for 52 years, was named one of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the Dallas area by the SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship.

The Dallas 100 Awards Gala was held on November 2, 2022 to announce the rank of each company. Brad Schweig was in attendance to receive the award for Sunnyland. Sunnyland ranked as the 98th fastest-growing privately-held business in the Dallas area.

For 32 years, the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business and the Dallas 100TM sponsors have celebrated area entrepreneurs’ innovative spirit, determination and business savvy. They have saluted the diversity, creativity and resolve it takes to create and sustain a successful business in today’s hyper-competitive environment.

The Caruth Institute, working with the accounting firm FORVIS, LLP examined sales from hundreds of companies for 2019 to 2021, the last year for which complete data is available. The winners represent Dallas and 16 surrounding cities.
