Jensen Outdoor Ipe Color Restoration Service

Sunnyland offers color restoration services for Jensen Outdoor Ipe furniture. Our process is designed to restore much of the wood's rich natural color, improve its overall appearance, and help protect it from future weathering. While many restorations produce dramatic results, every piece has weathered differently, and final results will vary based on its age, condition, maintenance history, and exposure to the elements.

Inspection & Assessment

Each piece of furniture is carefully inspected to ensure it is suitable for color restorationn. This step helps us determine the best approach to achieve the best possible results while preserving the integrity of the wood.

If we find that a piece cannot be restored safely, requires additional care, or has existing wear or damage that may affect the final results, we will inform you before starting and discuss the available options.

Restoration Steps

Sanding – Light sanding is performed as needed to smooth the surface of the wood and prepare it for restoration. Please note that deep nicks, gouges, dents, cracks, or structural damage are outside the scope of this service.

Cleaning – A specialized wood cleaner is applied to remove surface dirt, grime, mildew, and other contaminants.

Brightening – A wood brightener is used to restore the pH balance of the wood, enhancing its natural tones and preparing it for color restoration.

Color Restoration – Penofin Verde is carefully applied to restore much of the rich natural color of the wood while enhancing its overall appearance. Final color and appearance will vary depending on the condition and weathering of each piece.

Safeguarding – Once the finish has dried, a protective Wood Shield is applied to help safeguard the surface against future weathering and everyday wear.

What We Can't Do

• Guarantee a "like-new" appearance, as results vary depending on the furniture's condition, age, maintenance history, and weather exposure.

• Restore older Jarrah wood products or furniture that has been painted.

• Address deep nicks, gouges, dents, cracks, or structural damage, as these are outside the scope of our color restoration process.

• Remove every stain, discoloration, or imperfection that has developed over time.

• Repair loose joints, broken components, or other structural issues.

Results Will Vary

Because Ipe is a natural material, every piece ages differently depending on sun exposure, weather, maintenance, and use. While most customers experience a dramatic improvement in appearance, no two color restoration projects produce identical results.

Pricing

• $500 for up to 5 pieces of furniture.

• $50 for each additional piece.

• Furniture older than 5 years will be restored on a quote basis.

Example: For 10 pieces, the cost is $750 plus tax (first 5 pieces for $500, additional 5 pieces for $250).

Pricing includes pickup and delivery within our standard local delivery area.

Additional transportation fees apply outside the DFW area.
