HIGH POINT—Dallas-based casual furniture retailer Sunnyland Furniture was named Retailer of the Year in the under $10 million category by the Home Furnishings Association (HFA) at the High Point Market.

The annual award is chosen through a peer review system by other retailers.

“We are very excited to be honored by the HFA. As much as the Apollo Awards have meant to us over the years, it is truly a great privilege to be recognized by the Home Furnishings industry and our peers as a whole,” said Brad Schweig, VP of operations, Sunnyland. “We look forward to accepting the award at the HFA conference in June in San Antonio and sharing with the home furnishings industry how far the outdoor side has come over the years.”

The family-owned business was founded in 1946.
