Selecting New Slings

Your slings should last you 6-8 years (or longer) on your outdoor furniture before needing to be replaced due to wear and tear.  Once that time has passed, come to Sunnyland and we can help you select new fabric for your outdoor furniture.  Once the new slings are installed, your furniture should look almost brand new.

If you purchased your furniture from Sunnyland, we have records of your purchase going back to 1999, so we should be able to determine what you need.  If you originally purchased your furniture at another specialty store, we will need you to provide as many as the following items as you can:

• Copy of the original sales receipt showing the model numbers
• An actual chair from the series (or an actual chair) so we can identify it
• Measurements of the sling including the seat width, back width, seat length, and back length

How to measure your slings

To get the width, measure from inside to inside of the sling rails.  The best area to measure is at the front of the chair.  To get the length, measure the length of the sling rail.  Use masking tape to tape along the sling rail. Remove the tape and lay it flat and straight, and then measure the overall length.  For chaises and chairs with back and seat slings, please measure both back length and seat length.

Sunnyland Installation Fees

Although you can install your slings, many people opt to have our trained staff perform the work them.  We charge the following service fees for sling installation (this is in addition to the cost of the slings). IMPORTANT:  Please do NOT bring your furniture to Sunnyland for installation UNTIL your new slings arrive.

Self-Installation

You may also choose to install the slings yourself.  There is an initial learning curve with the first sling and it could take some time, but once you get the process down the last few chairs should be much easier to do.
